Unsere Geschichte

Lageanalyse24 is an independent Swedish digital news publisher founded in 2024 by Lageanalyse2 Media Ltd., a private company registered in Gibraltar. The site delivers clear, practical coverage of Swedish news, politics, economy, culture and society for readers in Sweden and internationally, with a commitment to trustworthy journalism free from spin or oversimplification.

Who owns and operates Lageanalyse24?

Lageanalyse24 is owned by Lageanalyse2 Media Ltd., a private company registered in Gibraltar (company number C 92009, Malta Business Registry). The publication is operated independently, with full editorial control vested in the Swedish editorial team under Chefredaktör Maximilian Möller.

The registered office is at Office 9, Business Centre, Valletta, 0000. Main phone: +356 2138 9009. The Swedish editorial line is +49 30 577 013 49. Ownership and funding structures are set out fully on our ownership and funding page.

Why was Lageanalyse24 founded?

Lageanalyse24 was founded to fill a gap in Swedish news coverage: readers needed a source that provided clear, practical context without the noise of breaking-news cycles or oversimplification. The tagline “Nachrichten, Analysen und Hintergründe für Deutschland” reflects its focus on serving German-speaking readers interested in Sweden.

Traditional outlets often prioritise speed over depth, leaving audiences without the background necessary to understand complex issues. Lageanalyse24 was designed to offer analysis that explains not just what happened, but why it matters, and what the consequences may be for Sweden and beyond.

How does the editorial team work?

The editorial team is led by Chefredaktör Maximilian Möller, who oversees editorial standards, publication decisions and corrections. A structured desk system ensures every article is drafted by a named writer, reviewed by an editor and fact-checked before publication.

The desk structure includes: Lisa Franke, Redaktionschef, responsible for daily newsroom operations and headline review; Tobias Jäger, Politikredaktör, covering the Riksdag, government and municipal politics; Caroline Kuhn, Wirtschaftreporter, focusing on economy, markets and household finance; Philipp Müller, Kultur- och samhällsredaktör, covering culture, lifestyle and society; and Sophie Zimmermann, Ansvarig för faktagranskning, who leads fact-checking, source verification and corrections. Full biographies are available on our team page.

What standards can readers expect from our journalism?

Every article on Lageanalyse24 carries a clear byline, explicit sourcing of facts and a commitment to prompt corrections when errors occur. Our editorial policy and sources and standards pages detail these practices transparently.

All pieces are fact-checked by Sophie Zimmermann’s team before publication. Corrections are published and noted prominently. Sourcing follows a strict hierarchy: primary documents, official records, named experts, and, where necessary, anonymous sources with a clear public-interest justification. Readers can review these principles on our editorial policy page and sources and standards page.

How is Lageanalyse24 funded?

Lageanalyse24 is funded through display advertising, affiliate links, commercial partnerships, sponsored content, newsletter sponsorships and content licensing. Sponsored or commercial material is clearly labelled, and affiliate links are disclosed; commercial relationships never determine editorial conclusions.

We believe transparency about funding is fundamental to trust. The ownership and funding page lists all revenue streams and explains how readers can identify commercial content. AI-assisted tools may support research or drafting but never replace human editorial judgement; every piece is approved by a human editor. We invite readers to subscribe to our free newsletter for curated analysis and to send tips, documents or story ideas to our newsdesk. See the newsletter sign-up page and the tips page.
