Tipp senden

We rely on readers, sources and whistleblowers to bring us story ideas, documents and tips that help us serve the public interest. This page explains how you can share information with Lageanalyse24 (lageanalyse24.de) and what you can expect after you do.

Who is responsible for tip handling at lageanalyse24.de?

The editorial team, led by chefredaktör Maximilian Möller, oversees all tip handling and publication decisions at lageanalyse24.de. The site is owned and operated by Lageanalyse2 Media Ltd, a private company registered in Gibraltar (company number C 92009, Malta Business Registry) with its registered office at Office 9, Business Centre, Valletta, 0000. Our main phone is +356 2138 9009. This ownership and structure are disclosed fully in our ownership and funding statement. The editorial line operates independently of commercial interests.

What makes a good tip for our newsroom?

We are looking for tips that have clear Swedish relevance and a strong public-interest angle. Good tips include developments in the Riksdag, government (regeringen) and municipal politics; changes in economic policy, markets or household finances (wirtschaft news and economy); as well as cultural and societal issues that affect readers in Sweden or the Swedish diaspora. We also welcome leads on wrongdoing, misuse of public funds, or systemic failures. The most valuable tips are those that are specific, verifiable and supported by documents, data or first-hand knowledge. Vague rumours or unsubstantiated accusations are unlikely to meet our editorial standards.

How can you submit a tip and what should you include?

You can send your tip to our dedicated email address: tips@lageanalyse24.de. For urgent news leads you may also write to newsdesk@lageanalyse24.de; for press-related inquiries use press@lageanalyse24.de. Please include a clear summary of the story, any supporting material (documents, links, audio, video), and your preferred method of contact if you wish to be reached. If you are willing to be named as a source, please say so; if you prefer to remain anonymous, you can still submit – see the section on confidentiality below. Provide as much context as possible, including dates, locations and the names of relevant individuals or organisations. We cannot investigate every tip, but a well-documented submission significantly increases the chances of follow-up.

How does our fact‑checking team verify tips?

All tips that enter our reporting process are assessed by our standards desk, led by Sophie Zimmermann, who is responsible for fact‑checking, source verification and corrections. The team evaluates the credibility of the information, cross-references it with public records and other reliable sources, and, where possible, contacts the original source or witnesses. We do not publish material that cannot be corroborated to a reasonable journalistic standard. For a detailed explanation of our methods, please see our fact‑checking policy and our sources and standards page.

How do we protect your confidentiality and what happens after submission?

We take confidentiality seriously. If you submit a tip and request anonymity, we will not reveal your identity to anyone outside the editorial team without your explicit consent. In certain cases, we may use encrypted channels – please contact us at tips@lageanalyse24.de to discuss secure options. After you submit a tip, it is logged and reviewed by a member of our editorial staff. If we decide to pursue the lead, we will contact you (if you provided contact details) to discuss next steps. If we do not follow up, we will not publish the information or use it without further consent. We cannot confirm or deny whether a tip is under investigation, as that may compromise the reporting process.

How can you report a correction?

If you believe content we have published contains an error, please send the details to corrections@lageanalyse24.de with the subject line “Correction request”. Include the article URL, a description of the error and, where possible, supporting evidence. Our corrections policy is available at /corrections-policy/. The fact‑checking team, led by Sophie Zimmermann, will review the claim and issue a correction if warranted.

Our commitments

  • Every tip is treated with respect and assessed on its journalistic merit alone, regardless of the source’s identity or background.
  • We will never publish information from a tip without proper verification and editorial approval.
  • We will protect the confidentiality of sources who request anonymity, subject to legal obligations and the public interest.
  • We will respond to correction requests promptly and transparently, in line with our published corrections policy.
  • Commercial relationships, including advertising and sponsorship, will never influence the decision to pursue or publish a tip.
